Christmas Traditions

Unto you is born this day, in the city of David, a Saviour.  Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men.

The parishioners at Saint Paul's enthusiastically participate in the Greening of the Church.

WIGILIA

Wigilija is the traditional Eastern European Christmas Eve celebration.  Everyone in attendance receives an oplatek (an embossed, flat wafer) and, after an opening prayer and blessing, each person greets every other person by breaking off a small piece of the other's oplatek and eating it.  It is most certainly a joyful event here at Saint Paul's.
