THE GOOD NEWS

Worship the Lord with gladness; come before him with joyful songs.  Know that the Lord is God.  It is he who made us, and we are his; we are his people, the sheep of his pasture. -Psalm 100:2,3

Picture
God is love, and love means relationship.  Our relationship with God is a free gift, made possible by God's only son, Jesus Christ.  He was born human, just like us, but by dying (just like us!) he overcame the relationship gap between humanity and God. The abundant, rich, glorious, never-ending life God created us for is now no longer out of reach. The gifts of the Holy Spirit poured out on Christ's church reveal the Father's passionate desire for an ever-deepening relationship with us.  All that we do at Saint Paul's — worship, service, love for one another, service, hospitality, forgiveness — flows out of, reflects, and returns into, that relationship. In making that relationship our highest priority, we announce to the world there is hope for all who turn back and call upon the name of the Lord.  We are living proof of that hope.  We are the beneficiaries, and the heralds, of unimaginably Good News!  Please, join us in celebrating.
